Mike Basha, P.Eng., P.Geo

President and CEO, Director

Mr Basha has been working in the mineral exploration industry for more than 23 years with major and junior companies domestically and internationally. His experience includes project generation, fieldwork, and senior management experience in gold, base-metal and magmatic nickel-copper-platinum group elements exploration. Mr Basha was instrumental in the discovery of the Hammerdown Gold deposit in Newfoundland. Mr. Basha was formerly Vice-President of exploration of Cornerstone Capital Resources Corp., leading the generative initiative that led to development of a large portfolio of projects and many successful joint ventures in eastern Canada and Ecuador. Mr Basha holds degrees in geology and engineering and in addition to his exploration experience has worked as a consulting geotechnical and environmental engineer in the past. Mr Basha is a principal and major shareholder of Aurion.
 

David Loveys, C.A.

Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary

Mr Lovey's experience has been primarily with Canadian publicly traded companies operating in the domestic and international markets. He has held senior financial positions with CHC Helicopter Corporation, the NewTel Group of Companies and is actively involved with Canadian Junior Exploration Companies, currently holding senior financial positions with Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc.. David has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981. He successfully completed the Investment Dealers Association of Canada, Canadian Securities Course in 1987.
 

Richard A. Graham, P.Geol.

Director

Mr. Graham is a Professional Geologist, registered with the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and has approximately 18 years of domestic and international geological experience. Since February 2004, Mr. Graham has been and is currently Manager, Corporate Development for Ionic Management Corp., a privately owned management company focused on the resource sector. He is currently a director and officer of various other public companies.
 

Matti Talikka, M.Sc.

Independent Director

Mr. Talikka obtained his M.Sc. Degree in geology from the University of Helsinki in 2003, and has since worked in the fields of research, consulting, mineral exploration, mining and minerals processing. Between 2007 and 2015 he was employed by Dragon Mining Limited where he held several positions including General Manager Exploration. Currently Mr. Talikka works as Director, Concentrator Plant Products for technology group Outotec.

Mr. Talikka is a Chartered Professional of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and a member of the Finnish Association of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers.
 

Dennis N. Clarke, B.A., LL.B., LL.M.

Director

Mr. Clarke is a Partner and past Managing Partner of the Newfoundland and Labrador office of McInnis Cooper. He has practiced law for the past twenty years, specializing in Corporate and Business, Energy and Natural Resources and Mergers and Acquisitions sectors. He recently represented Nalcor Energy in the negotiation and finalization of a major hydro deal between the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia. He served as assistant corporate secretary and general external counsel to FPI Ltd, a former TSE listed company, and has represented a number of junior mining companies, providing advice and general counsel on matters of joint operating agreements and general regulatory compliance.
 

Lisa Hodge

Controller

Ms. Hodge holds degrees from Memorial University of Newfoundland and for more than 20 years has worked in management and accounting for a group of private and publicly held companies. She has held positions of accountant, Corporate Secretary, Treasurer and CFO and brings a vast knowledge of financial reporting, corporate governance, and public company regulatory requirements.
